What is a .zip file?

Zip files and folders are compressed files. They take up less disk space than uncompressed (unzipped) files, so zip files are useful for sending information over the Internet

How to open a .zip file

To unzip (expand) your downloaded Digital Cut Files from the .zip folder:

On your Mac;

To unzip (expand) a compressed item: Double-click the .zip file

On your PC;

Locate the zipped folder that you want to unzip (extract) files or folders from, open File Explorer and locate the zipped folder. To unzip the entire folder, right-click to reveal a selection of actions, select ‘Extract All’, and then follow the instructions. To unzip a single file or folder, double-click the zipped folder to open it
